About the Plan
In 2013, the Keck Medical Center of USC launched a three-year strategic plan to help achieve its collective vision of becoming a recognized leader in medicine across the nation.
The six-month process to create the strategic vision included interviews with dozens of stakeholders, analysis of market data and surveying of staff and physicians across the enterprise. Additionally, more than 100 physicians, administrators and staff participated in design teams during the planning process.
Our strategy for success encompasses five key themes: developing a culture focused on people and collaboration, becoming a leader in quality and outcomes, improving access to our providers, managing our resources effectively and growing the clinical enterprise. These areas will guide our clinical expansion plans and activities in the years to come.
